Sound Of Jura Studio
Photo Gallery
Sound Of Jura studio is located on the Isle Of Jura in an old school,
its classroom has become a music room. Running MOTU's superb Digital
Performer platform on a Mac, the studio combines natural light and
superb acoustics, with views across the stretch of water from which the
studio takes its name. In house there are extraordinary acoustic
instruments and rare vintage electric guitars, amps and drums, and a
panoply of bells, gongs, drums and other things that reflect the title
once given to Giles Perring by composer Orlando Gough - 'The High
Priest of improbable percussion'.
